Take Over Day

On Friday 12th September it was 'Take Over Day' at St Augustine's

Earlier in the week the children throughout school had to vote for who they would like to have as the Headteacher and Deputy Head for the day.

The votes were counted and the lucky person to get the role of head teacher was Miss Lukianow.

There were two Deputy Heads Ajewole and Miss Cunningham both from year 6.

In year 5 we had a number of different lessons prepared and lead by the children.

We had a P.E lesson, Science Lesson, Languages lessons, Biscuit Decorating and a PSHE lesson.

The children did an amazing job of becoming teachers and delivered some good lessons.

Article 29: Education must develop a childs personality, talents and abilities.

This year the children will be starting a new spelling programme called Ready Steady Spell.

Below is a guide to help you support your child at home with their spelling.
